| How do I transfer my domain to you?
|
Please keep the following in mind before submitting
your transfer to us:
"Domain Lock" must be disabled BEFORE you submit for the transfer.
(you must go to your current registrar to find out if this
has been enabled on your domain)
You can NOT transfer an expired domain. Abrang.ir is NOT set
up for refunds, please make certain you can meet ALL transfer
requirements before continuing.
In order to complete your domain name Registrar Transfer,
we require approval from the domain's Administrative Contact,
this request is sent in an e-mail. If the e-mail address is
invalid on the current domain registration information, your
transfer will be denied.
Registry services can also Deny a Change Registrar Request
if:
Domain is NOT a .com, .net .org, .info, .biz or .us (.info,
.biz domains require an auth code) as we only offer those
TLD's.
Domain owner can not accept e-mail to his administrative contact
record e-mail address. (you may view the current registration
information by going to your current registrar and performing
a "whois" on your domain)
Domain payment is not current - expired domains can not be
transferred.
A domain cannot be transferred within the first 60 days after
it has been registered. Transfers within the first 60 days
will be automatically declined. However initiating a transfer
will cause you to be charged through us.
Domain is involved in a legal dispute, if your domain is the
subject of a litigation, involved in a bankruptcy, trademark
dispute, or dispute over ownership of registrant your request
will be declined.
Domain is locked.
Be advised that the original nameservers are maintained during
the transfer.

the email for approval of the transfer. If you encounter any

**Regarding the Auth code req. for the .info, & .biz domains
transfers**
"auth code"
The "auth info" code is created at the time the domain is
created. Transfer commands must contain this auth info code
to confirm transfer authority. The current Registrar of record
will have the auth info code and must provide it to the Registrant.
If they do not, the Registrar is in breach of their Registry-Registrar
Agreement and the Registrant should contact the appropriate
Registry. This information must be obtained from the current
registrar.

| Will any of my account information change
when I transfer the domain to Abrang.ir? |
Not at all. When you initiate a registrar
transfer (domain transfer) your account information (Owner,
Admin, Billing and Technical) as well as Nameservers remain
the same, to insure that you have no downtime from the transition.
Once the transfer is complete you can log in to your account
at https://www.onlinenic.com/cgi-bin/english/correct_domain_new.cgi
OR https://manage.opensrs.net/ and use the Nameservers section
to modify them.

| How much, including any hidden fees,
will I pay for this domain name? |
| Our total charge to you is in our price
list . This goes for new registrations and domain transfers.
Please note, when you transfer a domain to us it is renewed
for an additional year. |

|
| The renewal rate for domains will be announced
soon. The renewal rate will be very competitive to the current
wholesale market on domains when rates are published. |

| What do I get with your domain registration?
|
| With Abrang Group, you get a low cost domain
registration and the ability to manage single or multiple
domains, change all WHOIS contact information and delegate
nameservers, in addition to domain locking. We do not provide
hosting, email or domain pointing/forwarding with a domain
registration. |

| I'm thinking of registering a misspelling
of a popular site's domain name (example: Yahhoo.com, AOLL.com).
Is that a good idea? |
| This will oftentimes bring more traffic
to your site, but it is also very possible you will be sued.

| DNS is short for Domain Name Server. When
a domain name is entered into a browser’s address bar, a domain
name server takes over and translates the domain to the IP
address, telling the computer where the website is can be

or transfers can be initiated for that domain until you log
in to your account and unlock it. |

registering a domain name? |
| Yes. You can change registrars at anytime
once your domain has been registered for 60 days. |

| Can I renew a domain for multiple years?
|
| Yes . You can renew or register a domain
for at most 10 years. |

| I just ordered a domain and its not
showing up in WHOIS, what do I do now? |
| First, check www.register.com. Their WHOIS
search will have your domain information if the registration
was successful. If it does not show up there, please email
us directly at domains@abrang.ir and we will research this
for you. |

| Will my name and contact information
be publicly available? |
| Many sites, called Whois Sites, make this
information available to the public. |
|

| My domain is about to expire.
Can I still transfer it? |
| Please try to initiate any transfer at
least 4-6 weeks before the renewal date if not earlier. Some
registrars have put holds on domains that are just approaching
their renewal date. Check with your current registrar for
their transfer and renewal policies. If you do not initiate
your transfer within that time period it is possible that
you may lose your domain. |

| I registered a domain name, but
I made a mistake wile registering and registered the wrong
name/changed my mind about registering it after paying. Can
I cancel my registration? |
| All our domain sales are final. You will
have to place a new order if you wish to purchase a different
domain. |

| What does it mean to "register" a domain
name? |
| When you register a domain name, you are
registering for the sole use of that domain for the entire
registration period. |

| Can I register a domain name containing
only numbers? |
| Yes. Your domain name can consist of only
letters, numbers, or a combination of the two. You can also
use a hyphen (-), but your domain cannot begin or end with
a hyphen. |

| Can anyone register to own a domain
name? |
| Yes. Our domain registration service is
available to everyone. You do not need to have a dedicated
or virtual server hosted with us to take advantage of this

of my domain name? |
| This decision is entirely up to you. While
you may find that the extra cost of additional domain extensions
is unnecessary, you may also feel that owning multiple extensions
will help visitors find your site. |

| My domain is expired, when will I be
able to register it with you? |
| When a domain is expired, the registrar
can first hold on to it for up to 45 days in case you want
to renew it. After that time the deletion process is begun.
Once deleted, the domain enters a Redemption Period, which
lasts 30 days. Once the 30-day period is up, there is a 5
day hold pending final deletion, which happens, at latest,
on the 81st day after the domain expired. |

but I was told that OpenSRS was unable to parse admin email
address, what does that mean? |
| For some reason, the automatic scripts
to initiate this transfer were not able to email your admin
contact email address. OpenSRS will be manually emailing you
shortly. |

| When should I renew my domain name?
|
| At this time, Abrang Group does not offer
renewals. However, this service will be available as we approach
the one-year anniversary of when we first started offering
domain registration. More information will be available at
that time. |

| Once I have secured my name, how
long may I use it? |
| Currently, Abrang Group is offering domain
registration for one year to ten years increments. |

| What extension should I choose for my
domain? |
Dot com domains are by far the most popular,
but we also offer .net, .org, .info, .biz, and .us extensions.

.net – used by networking companies and internet service
providers
.org – used by miscellaneous organizations and groups
.info – used by information sites
.biz – used by online commerce

| I just request that you transfer my
domain to your Domain Registration services, but when I try
to log in it tells me the account does not exist! What is
going on? |
| You will be unable to log in to your domain
management screens until the transfer or registration process
is complete. Once that is done you will have full access.
